Two Parts, One
Whole
By: Chibi-chan
*
The sword, for
the attack;
The shield, to
protect.
Both are
necessary for battle;
Two parts of
one whole.
*
The Black
Sword Rune;
The Bright
Shield Rune.
Both parts of
the Rune of Beginnings;
Two parts of
one whole.
*
One boy, the
son of an aristocrat;
The other an
orphan, raised not by one of his bloodline.
Both parts of
the tale fate will weave;
Two parts of
one whole.
*
The wielder of
the Black Sword tries to shield what’s dear;
The wielder of
the Bright Shield attacks to protect the future.
Both parts try
to compensate for what is lacking,
The other part
of one whole.
*
One rune,
One soul,
One heart,
One goal;
Two parts,
One whole.
*
End
“Remember, power without heart is evil.”
